Q. I am doing a school project and need to know what crops they grew in colonial georgia and georgias economy.. Im not lazy i have looked but all i have found was rice indigo and peaches! And that is was warm And what was the weather?

A. "Farmers in the Southern Colonies grew several things. The most popular crop was tobacco. The Jamestown colonists had grown tobacco originally, and tobacco farms sprung up all over Virginia and North Carolina. The two southernmost states (South Carolina and Georgia) also grew indigo and rice."

What is the best place to live and raise children in Georgia? Rosswell or Peachtree?
Q. We are a Puerto Rican family looking to relocate to Georgia. I am a clinical psychologist and my husband recently retired from the US Air force. We have a 5 year old girl and a four year old boy and our main reason to relocate is because things in Puerto Rico are looking pretty bad. The economy is about to collapse and companies are exploring the possibility to relocate to other countries. They said that Georgia is one of the best places with best quality of Life . I read that Roswell and Peachtree have won several awards. We are CLULESS about were would the best place for us and for our children. A. any of the north atlanta suburbs would be fine. esp the ones along ga 400. Roswell, alpharetta, dunwoody, sandy spring, east marietta etc. peachtree city is also nice but it is way south of atlanta. The north suburbs have better access to the better stuff. Yards though tend to be small here as developers do their best to cluster as many houses as they can into a sub division. Even the million dollar homes are stacked up on each other. The older houses tend to have more property. Schools in east cobb, north fulton will all be quality schools. The only real issue for you guys is traffic. It is horrible, especially from the suburbs to the city. There are some areas in Atlanta that are nice and have older homes in upscale neighborhoods… [cont.]

What are some common edible plants located in the North Georgia mountains?
Q. I'm planning a week long solo camping trip in the North Georgia mountains with barely anything more than a sleeping bag and a tarp, and would like some info on edible vegetation, and even possibly blueprints for traps and snares. If anything, please direct me to a website with the info.
